Serious pursuit of Bird Watching and Photography exposes one to different geographies,
people, culture and one gets to know more about the country, the geographic and ecological diversity and enables to
look at the world from a broader perspective, in the process forming one's opinions about life on earth.
Here are a few reports of birding, photographing trips done in the past, either in pursuit of birds, or simply
an effort to answer the call of the wild. I know not what, but I just want to keep travelling. Is it something inside us,
inherited from our cave dwelling ancestors?
Below are old travelogues I used to compile after each foray into the wild/unknown before photography days. These were lying in my old website (sureshsv.freeshell.org); Some are misadventures, some are adventures. Call them what you may, but I will treasure these memories forever - these experiences shaped my thought process and understanding of life on earth.
